About

My fascination with fashion began when I was thirteen. My cousin use to buy Glamour magazines and I would mimic and draw the figures in the fancy dresses. I decided I wanted to be a designer. It was Jean Paul Gaultier, the Enfant Terrible of the Paris fashion scene in the Mid-eighties that influenced me the most. I entered Fashion design school in 1988. This was the beginning of my journey to here! So, the story goes I changed my mind often enough, was plagued with insecurities and indecisions throughout my 20s and 30s. Then lost myself till I was 38. I took an epic trip. My father passed away. And these defining moments set in motion events that would school me in life. I went back to school. Graduated with a Fine Arts Diploma. Started hustling my art and hit a brick wall. Since I was on Etsy trying to sell my work. I transitioned into selling handmade Jewelry, which I still make but do not sell, yet! I was stacking my inventory and added some Vintage jewelry pieces to it. And Attirely Vintage was born! I love what I do and hope I can continue it! I search out, select, research and list the unusual, the designer brands, the cool and wickedly dope for Men and Women from the 50s-early 90s in Fashion!
