Glistening Silver Leaves with sparkling rhinestones in the shape of leaves! Lovely turquoise glass berries dangle for the silvery leaves in gradient sizes. This brooch is made with pot metal leaves with glued-in rhinestones. It was confirmed by a long-time Haskell employee that Haskell did glue in rhinestones -pre-signature pieces, many from WWII. Stunning 40s era early Miriam Haskell piece. The clasp on the back was designed in 1931-32 by Elisha A Phinney according to the Patent # on the back. The berries and leaves are attached to an acrylic mesh plate. The clasp is attached by wire.
